It has been an incredible week. I have been down in Punta del Este, Uruguay, with a group of my Private Clients, hosting an investor conference and exploring what life is like in the country.

We have one more blowout dinner tonight at my friends' house and are doing a big wood-fired barbeque with probably the best meat in the world. I will try to take some pictures to make you jealous ;)

Uruguay is one of my favourite countries these days; it is super safe, they have a 10-year tax holiday for foreign-sourced income if you move here (meaning you pay no taxes to Uruguay), and the weather is a proper four seasons without getting too cold in the winter or too hot in the summer. 

It’s a real place an expat can build a life abroad.
