Pure Piñata Carnage

Last night we went to my friend’s kids’ birthday party.
He had just turned 9 years old.
Now, I’ve been to Latino birthday parties here in Panama before, but every time, the piñata absolutely amazes me.
The birthday boy went first and got a couple of solid whacks at the piñata before the stick was handed off to the next child.
They were using a sturdy two-and-a-half-foot piece of doweling that’s about the thickness of the butt end of a pool cue.
Basically, if someone is walking too close, or it flys out of the hands of the child swinging the thing, it’s going to do some serious damage.
The kids really take some windup swings at this cardboard effigy of their favourite cartoon character.
I must have moved my chair back 10 times as I was watching this all unfold. I’ve had my nose broken 3 times in my life and I was not looking for a fourth…
The kids got so riled up, you could actually feel the energy in the room.
The craziest thing to watch is when the 20 or 30 kids have had a go at the piñata and eventually, someone breaks through the cardboard and the candy goes everywhere.
The kids go absolutely mental.
They are diving on top of one another, filling their little bags to the brim, it’s pure mayhem.
Some of the kids know exactly what to do, they position themselves right underneath the piñata and open their bags as the candy falls directly into it like a cone, others are timid and are way back on the edges getting the leftovers that don’t get scooped up by anyone else.
Inevitably one kid’s bag gets ripped and their candy spills back onto the floor as the rest of the children turn on them suddenly and snatch up every last piece of candy.
Eventually, there is nothing left, some kids are extremely happy, others are in tears.
The whole thing is quite an ordeal to watch.
It reminds me of the mania we see in a crypto bull market, especially in the latter stages of the cycle.
Some investors know how to position themselves so the gains flow directly into their portfolio and they get the maximum returns, others are on the sidelines and receive only the scraps...
The question is, how do you form a strategy that will get you the biggest profits?
For me I always make sure I have the best intel available, that’s why I recommend you check out my buddy Marco Wutzer’s paid newsletter. The insights you will get there will make all the difference.
