Recently I had clients fly down to Panama for some residency stuff, this was not their first time, actually, they have been here several times now.

They invited us out for dinner last Friday and organized everything. They found a cool place with live music and great cocktails and there were maybe 15 or 20 of us. I was impressed because I didn’t need to organize anything and I didn’t need to be the host, I could just relax.

Well, we went out for dinner with them again last night to a local restaurant (which I had never been to) and ate oysters from Canada and had an excellent steak dinner and maybe a little too much red wine. They knew the waiter by name and showed my wife and me the best things to order off the menu.

At one point during dinner they turned to my wife to tell them how much their lives had changed since they started working with me. They had been looking at moving overseas for 9 years but had never pulled the trigger. Then in a few short months of working with me, they were able to secure their residency in Panama, purchase a new condo here, got a bank account set up overseas and I even helped place them in a private investment that is up over 100% since they got involved.

For me, I am most proud because they have actually started to build a life here in Panama and are teaching me about great places to go and they are making friends and incorporating themselves into the local community. 

It’s a real life in a new country, one they are excited to live with loads of opportunities in front of them. 

I am very fortunate to be able to meet so many amazing people and help them make some really important decisions in their lives on where they are going to live and help them to secure their new lives abroad.
