Why We Have Net Worth Requirements For Our Different Membership Tiers
Jan 20, 2025 11:01 pm
After sending out the link to our new membership tier breakdown page, I’ve received several questions about the financial requirements for working with my team at Expat Money, particularly regarding joining The First Class Group Consulting Program or working with me one-on-one as a Private Client.
It’s an important topic, so I want to address it here rather than replying to each inquiry individually.
As crazy as it may sound, we turn away a ton of people who are ready to wire us the funds to begin working with us.
As I said, crazy, right?
But here’s the reality: your offshore plans won’t get off the ground without sufficient liquid capital.
Here’s Why…
Most pathways to residency or citizenship, whether through real estate investments or other avenues require substantial capital... think in the neighbourhood of 300k USD.
Investing in real estate is the most common pathway because, let's be honest, what good is a Plan-B if you don’t have a physical place to land in your chosen Plan-B country when your home country is unfit to house you and your loved ones?
Beyond that, there are various fees that come with setting up your offshore life; lawyers, accountants, filing fees, and set-up costs for your legal structures like trusts and foundations are all costs that need to be accounted for, and they're out-of-pocket expenses.
I want to make it clear that although the service providers I work with are at the top of their game, their costs are far more reasonable than those of a Canadian or USA-based tax lawyer, for example.
Now, I know this sounds complicated, and honestly, it is. I’m not going to sugar-coat it.
…But that’s exactly why even the ultra-savvy, financially successful individuals with top-tier lawyers and accountants on speed dial choose to work with me and my team at Expat Money.
Going offshore isn’t solely a financial and legal science; it’s an art. And humbly, I can say we’ve mastered it.
We know the game, we know the players, and we’ve built the network to make the transition to your new life abroad one that is smooth and without hassle, all while ensuring that your offshore plan will stand the test of time.
This is what we do best and is why Expat Money has a top-notch track record of happy clientele.
Many of you have started filling out our application forms only to find that you don’t quite qualify for our First Class or Private Client services.
I thought it would be helpful to address this and encourage those of you who may not be quite financially ready for certain memberships to consider Business Class Hub Membership.
Business Class is our Hub membership level for individuals still working on upping their financial standing. If you want to be part of our amazing community and access a ton of resources that will help you eventually achieve your goals, I suggest joining now.
Here is the link to the membership page. I encourage every one of you reading this email to spend a few minutes reading it intently.

PS. If you’re serious about making your offshore journey a reality, The Wealth, Freedom & Passports Conference is a great time to do so. It will be a fun way to meet the team, get the guidance you need, and learn which membership tier will best serve your unique goals. Whether you’re just starting your offshore journey or ready to take the next step, this conference will help you figure out the right path forward.
