Hoping Alberta Will Secede isn’t a Plan-B
May 05, 2025 12:21 pm
If you’re a freedom-minded Canadian watching what’s happening in Ottawa right now, I get it, you’re probably furious.
The globalist banker Mark Carney has officially been elected, and it should be beyond clear by now that Canada won’t be saved by politics.
But there is an interesting movement brewing in the province of Alberta. According to a recent poll, 30% of Albertans say they’d vote to leave Canada if they could.
At the same time, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has introduced Bill 54, which lowers the threshold to trigger a referendum, including one on separation.
She insists it’s not about pushing Alberta out of Canada, but the Alberta independence movement is picking up some steam after the election.
The timing makes it clear: people are desperate for an off-ramp from federal dysfunction.
But let’s be honest: while I will certainly root for Alberta’s independence, this isn’t a strategy so much as a coping mechanism.
Here's the problem: Alberta isn’t going to secede.
And even if it did, it would take years (more likely decades), and that’s assuming Ottawa didn’t crush it with federal force or lawfare before it ever got off the ground.
You aren't going to protect your wealth and freedom by waiting for the right laws to be passed or the right politicians to be elected.
You need a real, actionable Plan-B, not a daydream about independence.
When I work with my clients, we don’t deal in pipe dreams.
We take actionable steps, such as acquiring second residencies and passports, purchasing international real estate, and setting up offshore bank accounts.
These tangible strategies give you a way out now, not at some nebulous time in a possible future…
…if the stars align…
…and the courts agree…
…and if Parliament allows it...
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: hoping the government saves you is not a plan.
Take the first steps toward building your Plan-B today.

Mikkel
