Update on Colombia trip

All week we have been in Medellin Colombia. It was easy to get into the country and we didn’t need any type of covid test or vaccine certificate, just normal immigration process.
It was funny going through the airport in Panama, the immigration officer didn’t really understand what was going on when I handed him half a dozen passports of different nationalities for my family and everyone is speaking in different languages to one another.
He took it in good stride but for sure didn’t know what to make of us.
Last week I’ve been meeting with different contacts here during the day and had dinner and drinks at night with our friends at night. We even rented a helicopter to take us out to Pablo Escobar’s old summer home and the Rock of Guatapé. I will see about putting some pictures up on Instagram.
Last night was a special one though, we hosted a meetup for our community and had over 20 people join us. It was amazing to get to meet different subscribers and hear everyone’s stories.
We really do have the coolest people in our community.
This has really been facilitated by the growth of our Private Facebook group that just crossed 4,000 members.
I am hoping to do more and more meetups as travel opens up and my family and I spend more time on the road.
Maybe we will try to do a meetup in Panama in December, let me know if you would be interested?
This is just a little update, lots of exciting things to share with you about Colombia in the coming weeks.
Talk soon,
Mikkel
