A viable option for internationally-minded families

Last night my wife and I met up for dinner with two subscribers here in Medellin, Colombia.

We had some excellent food in Provenza... and perhaps one too many martinis…

It’s awesome meeting like-minded people face to face, there’s an instant connection and the conversation flows so naturally.

I’m very fortunate to be able to surround myself with amazing people; life is too short to spend time with crummy people.

It’s one of the main reasons I am an entrepreneur and don’t work a 9-5 office job, I always want to be able to choose who I spend my time with.

I truly believe the old adage of “you are the average of the five people you spend the most amount of time with”

I take it very seriously.

It’s why I invest so much time, effort, energy and money in developing my network. I realize that constantly being around incredible people will force me to up my game and will most certainly have a massive positive impact on my life.

I have one client who really gets this. He is flying in for an impromptu meetup we are doing here in Medellin this Sunday just so he can hang out with me and others from the Expat Money Community.

How amazing is that, fly to Colombia for 48 hours, have dinner and drinks with a crowd of like-minded people, then fly back home.

This concept of networking is so important to me that we are incorporating it into the school we are building. I truly believe that this is one of the most important concepts we can teach our children; community. To be surrounded by good families with kids who are really going to make a difference in this world and who have a very strong moral compass.

If this is what you want for your children, to be headed in the right direction, then who they spend time with is the most important thing, maybe even more important than what they are learning.

Looking at what’s happening with public education in the world right now makes me sick, the emotional scars this will leave on these kids for the rest of their lives is criminal.

Those poor kids just don't stand a chance...

I’m so glad we have a program to help families opt out of all of this nonsense.

We have an upcoming webinar on November 9th to discuss this exact thing, and more than that, how to provide real-life solutions for families who need it.

You are invited to join us for the presentation:
