A Note From the Editors
It’s been almost a month since EVO Trading Club launched the Daily Printer, and we’re all thrilled with the support and attention we’ve received.
As a thank you, we’re improving our referral system so that you can see how much we appreciate you all the more.
By referring 5 friends, you’ll get a free month trial in EVO Trading Club. That’s an $80 value that we’re literally giving away.
At the end of the day, we want to help as many people learn about options and the market as we can. We know that this will get us closer to accomplishing our goal.
Godspeed,
The Daily Printer, Editors
One More Solution
The stock market rally got another kick in it’s rear following President’s Trump claim that plasma treatment for COVID-19 may be available before the presidential election.
While this is potential great for the markets and the economy, two things the EVO Analysts don’t want anyone to forget are the number of times over maybe the passed 3 months when the markets have risen on vaccine news as well as the number of times that vaccines have been released.
We need the second number to start rising to meet the first.
Watchya Digging for?
Shares of Northern Dynasty Minerals (NYSEAMERICAN: NAK) plunged down so far today that we think they might have struck gold. Or coal, if you’re an investor.
The “mining” “company” doesn’t actually have a functioning mine; so, when investors were reminded that they have yet to receive a permit to allow them to start digging up earth, shares dropped more than 45%.
With that in mind, approval for the mine could be huge for the company--if they ever get it.
Time Decay and the Last Month
The last month or so of an option’s life is when you start to really see it lose value quickly. Cool, but why should you care?
When you’re selling options, you want to see their value waste away, so it makes sense to sell contracts expiring in this time frame.
On the other hand, when you’re long options, you want to reduce time decay--you can do this by purchasing them further from expiration, further in the money, or by implementing spreads on shorter dated contracts.
