Badyear
It might shape up to be a bad year for Goodyear (NASDAQ: GT) following Trump’s request for his followers to boycott the tire producer.
The Tweet was prompted by the company deciding to not allow employees to wear “Make America Great Again” hats and immediately pushed shares 6% lower.
Between this and the boycotts of Facebook last months, it seems like we’ve entered the year of the boycott. Whether you agree with either move, politically, you can’t help but wonder--who's next?
Imagine Buying a Car with No Engine
Even though shares of Chinese electric car maker Nio (NYSE: NIO) are trading a few percentage points lower today, the company released some potentially promising news.
The EV producer is going to offering their vehicles without batteries to lower the sticker price; that way, the consumer is able to pay a monthly fee on the battery.
While this sounds great, we can’t help wondering if this is just financing with extra steps.
To The F%#king Moon.
Tesla. To. The. Moon.
Unlike $NIO, $TSLA soared today.
Tesla shares crossed $2000 per share for the first time ever. The 7% spike today is most likely due to anticipation of their stock split and just an overall good day for growth stocks.
There are also reports that Panasonic has decided to invest $100 million into Tesla’s battery production factory in Nevada.
I Can Sell Options That I Don’t Own?
Yes, yes you can. And doing so is actually a popular strategy among our Analysts over at EVO Trading club.
“Selling to Open” means that you’re actually writing an options contract into existence; in other words, you’re getting paid to take on risk.
While this can be devastating if not done properly, the EVO Analysts love explaining how to responsibly use this technique for some lucrative returns. Click here to join the free channel on our server and learn all about selling options during our call tomorrow at 11 am.
