Are you sensitive to fabrics?

Understanding your Clothing Values helps you shop smarter. A common Clothing Value is “Sensory/Kinesthetic” if you are sensitive to the feel of fabric. You likely prioritize soft, non-irritating, natural fibers like cotton, linen, or silk and avoid synthetic materials like acrylic, which can be itchy and uncomfortable. Comfort becomes even more important as we age, and for me, acrylic is a dealbreaker—I’ll leave any garment with it on the rack. Even if it feels soft, it often doesn’t breathe or wear well. Be sure to check fabric labels carefully!
