No Fuss Holiday Fashion Tips

The holiday season often means family gatherings, parties, and festive outings. The key to easy yet festive outfits is to invest in a few pieces that you can mix and match. Adding bling with accessories can uplift your outfit to fancy in an instant. Consider these options to feel ready for any occasion:

Luxurious Fabrics:  Velvet, silk, satin, and even sequins are perfect for creating a sophisticated, festive look. One piece is often enough to convert your outfit to classy and chic. Even a simple silk scarf can dress up the simplest outfit. Wearing a silky shirt or a velvet blazer or both with jeans transforms simple jeans to Elegant Chic! Sequins are especially good for evening events.  To keep it understated, choose only one luxurious fabric as the focal point of your outfit.

Colour! Traditional Red, Green and Jewel tones: The holidays are a great time to play with color. Wearing red, green or both will immediately put that festive look in your outfit. Something as simple as a red sweater with dark jeans works for a more casual event or try a silky green blouse with black trousers for a dressier look. Jewel tones, like sapphire blue, ruby red or amethyst purple give your outfit a rich dimension. Add a metallic bag or shoe to add a touch of glam.

Jewelry & Scarves: Accessories are a fun way to add holiday spirit to your look. Bold jewelry, like a statement necklace or chandelier earrings, can instantly make an outfit festive. Scarves in fabrics like cashmere or silk bring elegance and warmth, with metallic threads or subtle holiday patterns for extra cheer. For bags, a metallic or jeweled option adds a festive touch without overwhelming your outfit. Keep it simple when wearing bold accessories by letting one or two pieces be the focal point of your outfit.
