IT IS NOVEMBER!
Our schedule above shows you I am away for two professional events, and in training one weekend. November 16-17 I am doing a Pain-Free Performance certification that I know will add to our program. I am in Montreal for the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologists conference, and we have a SUB - my friend Josephine is one of the best Pilates instructors I know and will teach on Thursday, Nov 21
This week I am in Ottawa for the National Physical Activity Summit!!!!
What a gift!!!!
What we learned in October is that health - and life - is a gift
Think about how many times you look around and are in awe at nature?
How many workouts you do, live or recorded, that take your breath away?
Whether the small stuff you stress about matters in the end?
The end of the year can feel overwhelming
Work. Family. Friends. Commitments.
How you you prioritize your health?
- You remember the feeling POST workout when you want to hit snooze or skip it that day! Get home, get supper on and GET IT DONE!
- You focus on 10 minutes of exercise if you can't do 20 or 45
- You have healthy food close by so you don't reach for Halloween candy.
- You write where you want to be December 31st - and put a plan into place
- You know deep breating will calm the vagus nerve when stressed.
- You know that a glass of water is invariably a good idea
