Seeking your view on covers...

Between the Pages

Hi

We are into the second quarter for the year, and already I have read so many great books. I am in awe of the talent of some of my fellow writers. I still have a few more lined up at my bedside table, and also in electronic form. I like the fact that when stuck waiting for an appointment, or sitting on the train, I can whip out my phone and read a bit more on the appropriate app.

There are a couple of books listed below from writing colleagues, and also I'm seeking opinions on potential covers for the next in the Sandy Bay series.

In yet another project, totally unrelated to romance, I am conducting interviews with people who are 70+. If this is you, or someone close to you, read down to that section.

regards

Emily

What am I working on now?

Safe Harbour in Sandy Bay

Option A Option B

I know that Escape to Sandy Bay has only recently been released, but I am working on the next book in the series - Safe Harbour in Sandy Bay. The sea will have a big role in this book, as Lily works on her father's fishing boat, and Harley moors his yacht in Sandy Bay when he needs to fix an electrical problem.

I have been reviewing cover options, and am undecided so thought I would seek opinions from this source. What do you think... Cover A or Cover B? Do you think neither. Let my know your thoughts at emily@emilyhussey.com.au.

Welcome to Serenity Springs

by Berie Stein

“The moment I stepped into Serenity Springs, I knew...”

Serenity Springs, the perfect place to escape the chaos of city life.

It was until my vacation was quickly disrupted by the charming yet grumpy Jack Robinson.

From the moment we met I knew I had to break the exterior of this hardened, unkempt, yet infatuating gentleman.

When Jack mistook me for a business investor I decided to play along hoping to learn more about him.

One thing was for sure… he wasn’t going to willingly give me an in.

But did I take the game too far?I didn’t realize his fears and trust issues ran so deep, and my sleuthing into his past may have just cost me the first meaningful relationship I ever had.

It’s up to me to fix our relationship no matter the cost. I love Jack and want a future with him, I just pray it is not too late for us.

Welcome to Serenity Springs is a heart-warming, closed-door, stand-alone romance and the first in the Vaction Romance at Serenity Springs Series. Emma and Jack’s story is one of second chances and overcoming demons of the past to get to their HEA.

The Weight of Love

Emily Anne James

The moment I laid eyes Stella at the gym, I knew I had to claim her. An instant forbidden attraction too hot to deny. Her curvy backside and seductive smile weren’t just amazing—they were a challenge I couldn’t resist.

Our flirty banter quickly turned into the most erotic night of passion, revealing desires for power, control, and surrender we never knew we craved.

Stella, a high-powered CEO twelve years my senior, has given up on love and relationships. A commanding presence in the boardroom, but secretly seeking surrender behind closed doors. And as a Navy man on the brink of deployment, I can't help but wonder if I'm just another one-night stand or the start of something real.

With my deployment approaching, staying away from Stella becomes impossible. Our connection grows stronger every day, leaving us both wondering if we’re more than just “holiday flings.”

As we Battle doubts about age and expectations, we face a choice: risk everything for a love that feels like destiny or walk away, forever haunted by what might have been.

Roadmap to the Seventies

I am involved in a project related to how people of this age differ to previous generations, and how they are facing the future. If you or anyone you know falls into this age group, I'd love to seek your views. Drop me an email saying 'Interested' to emily@emilyhussey.com.au and I will get back to you promptly.

Loving the number or 5-star ratings that are coming in for Return to Sandy Bay.

Reviews!

If you read any of my books, or those written by others that are presented in my newsletters, I and my fellow authors would be grateful if you left a review. Reviews help future readers, and also tell the book retailer algorithms that they should keep presenting the book as an option for anyone browsing..
