You can never have too many books at Christmas

With Christmas approaching, already conversations are being held about who is bringing what to the table for lunch. I will bring a seafood salad and a dessert, but may put some Frose on ice as well. It's name reflects the fact that it's made with frozen rose, (yes it should have the accent over the 'e', but I'm not able to insert it in the email) and the addition of blended strawberries makes it truly yummy. Perfect for lunch on a hot day. Currently, the forecast is for 27C (80F) so should be a beautiful day.
Lunch this year will be at my nephew's house in the Adelaide Hills, not far from the setting for the Harrow Series. If you have read any of the Harrow books, you will have an idea of the countryside around his property.

My Favourite Christmas story...

Because of You

Before Roger, the engagement ring and a new lease on life,
I was still Margaret Kellerman
and Liam...well he was still my best friend.
Back then, I had only one goal,
make Liam Collins H-O-T!
Well not too much, I didn't want anyone to know,
how amazing he was.
I always said he could use a little work,
so he wouldn't get picked on as much.
Not that he cared either way,
he wasn't one to give into popularity contests.
All he needed was the right look,
a new haircut, wardrobe, and he even learned to
stop saying those corny one liners
and having soap box rants.
There's just one thing...
IT COMPLETELY BACKFIRED.
I didn't think he was going to be that hot...without my help.
After the makeover, the unwanted attention
laughter turning into tears and hope became let downs,
I used to think he was my best friend
and because of Liam, I don't anymore.
AUTHOR NOTE: This is different from the ULTRA SPICY contemporary romances I generally write. If I would to label it, I would probably say it's a mesh of Chic Lit, Romantic Comedy and on the tame end of contemporary romance.

Escape to Sandy Bay
This is a great story, finishing in time for Christmas, and who doesn't love Christmas at the beach, complete with ice cream!
As a successful lawyer, Alyssa’s life is on an upward trajectory. A shock betrayal sees her carefully curated future collapse around her and sends her running to her childhood haven of Sandy Bay. She doesn’t expect to become embroiled in a local community crisis, nor with the man she thinks is driving it.
Single Dad Max cares for son Jeremy, while establishing his environmental consultancy. She stirs the emotions in ways he didn’t expect, but when he believes she has neglected his son, he is quick to lash out.
They each have to address conflicts associated with their pasts, and as Christmas approaches, either one or both could be celebrating alone.

Frose
Ingredients
750 ml bottle of dry rose
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/4 cup vodka
2 tablespoons Grenadine
Pour the rose into ice cube trays and freeze until solid, 8 hours or overnight. Combine the strawberries and the sugar in the bowl of a blender, and let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes until the berries begin to release their juices. Add the vodka, grenadine, and the rose cubes. Blend the mixture on high until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with strawberries if desired.
Note: Adding mint leaves to the glass could be nice.
