What's not to love about holiday reading?

Hi
I love the holiday season. I take time out to do things I might not otherwise have time to do. Yesterday I did a tour of the Coorong, an area known for bird and aquatic life where the Murray River hits the sea.
Besides seeing the usual pelicans and other birds, we found an echidna and from a distance, saw a few emails. There were also a few seals lying around in the sun.
Of course, that's not all I do in the holiday season. There is a pile of books by my bed to work my way through in quieter moments. There are a few suggestions below for you as well.
regards
Emily

Mooncrossed
by Ashleigh Stevens
One space station. Two estranged best friends. Can romance blossom in space?
For Captain Jason Tyler, life is good. As one of the best pilots in the fleet, he is selected to run daily transport shuttles to the moon. His charismatic personality and mesmerizing smile charm everyone around him. Except for the one person who matters the most.
Doctor Anika Verde is excited to be named chief medical technician on the new space station orbiting the moon. Being six hours away from the nearest hospital gives frontier medicine a new meaning. Unfortunately, she's going to need some help.
Once upon a time, Anika and Tyler were inseparable. Now, she can't stand to be in the same room as him and he has no idea why.
Missing medical supplies, construction accidents, and deadly viruses force these former friends to work together. With such a tangled history, Anika and Tyler must determine whether they can put aside their differences or remain forever mooncrossed.

Plan B: Secret Donor Baby
by Rowena Wylde
Who knew babies could grow in laboratories? It takes two to tango, so when Pyper hasn't met the man of her dreams, she takes matters into her own hands. Who needs men anyway? South Coast Fertility Clinic came to her rescue and a last-minute fling with Charlie Jordan confirmed she’d made the right decision.
The gods must have been laughing. She was barely 6 weeks pregnant when her dream job came up. Of course, she applied—she could worry about logistics later. If she dressed carefully, she could hide her pregnancy for a while, at least until she'd proven her worth.
Beecham Construction was all that she hoped—well almost. The Project Director was the last person she ever expected to work with. Not only did she have to hide her little bump, she also had to conceal her secret liaison, not helped by Charlie's antagonistic attitude.
When she discovers she's not the only one with a secret, will it bring them together or tear them apart?
