(Actually, it's a Shanster who dressed up as Mr Crepsley for Halloween! Unfortunately I don't have his name to hand!)
My annual Christmas short story, SHANTA CLAUS (or MERRY BLOODY CHRISTMAS, as it's officially titled) has just gone live online.
I wrote the first version of this back in the year 2000, not long after Tunnels Of Blood was first published, and the spine of the story involves Shanta Claus delivering presents to the main characters from the first three books of my vampire series. But over the years it's evolved to include tie-ins to all my other series, and some of my one-off books too. None of it should be considered "Bible" -- it's all just good, seasonal fun, the only place and time where the various Shan universes collide.
I've also started using it to provide sneaky updates and big announcements, before they appear on my official social media channels. This year, for instance, you can find out where we're at with the Cirque Du Freak and Demonata TV adaptations (and one those is looking VERY hopeful)... there's confirmation of a Hungarian re-release... and a massive, welcome surprise for fans of the 25th anniversary Cirque Du Freak reprint!!
