Begin with the End in Mind

Dear Wonderful Woman,
I hope you're well.
I've had a really great start to this week, on 2 counts which I'd like to share! I encourage you all to celebrate your success. It helps you too see it and acknowledge it. It gives you the confidence to keep going with goals, which are still work in progress, you have not YET achieved. You will achieve them, with belief, trying new things, learning and embracing failure as part of your success. So, what are you celebrating today? I'll go first!
Last week on Friday, I had the opportunity to work with an amazing and fantastic Senior Communications Professional based in the United States. She was so delighted with her session she shared the following feedback with her LinkedIn network.
The second was celebrating the completion of the Succeed at Failure Workshop with 2 brilliant, amazing female leaders in their field. It was my pleasure to meet with them in real life and to celebrate our collective success of the workshop experience.
Finally, I want to talk about beginning with the end in mind, having a clear vision of your goals and why it is important to achieve your goals is critical. Understanding why your goals matter to you, and what they mean personally for your life, gives them a deeper meaning. Having that clarity, helps you to be committed to your goals, to lay down your excuses and to give it everything that you've got! I also wanted to share with you that it may take many attempts, failures, or doing it differently than you had imagined to reach your career goal. So, have patience, and take the time acknowledge the progress that you make along the way. Acknowledge that progress, don't just let it slip by because you've not yet reached your goal! Because the effort and action that you've already taken matters.
Wishing you hope, courage, and belief that you recognise that you're more capable than you believe. Because in that leap of faith is where you'll see the biggest shifts. I believe in you. So just go for it!
Your greatest achievements take time, new thinking, different actions, and different habits.
Warm Regards,
Ekua 💛
