What Do You Expect?

It doesn’t really pay to expect the worst.

Prepare for yes, but not expect.

It might be useful to expect the best.

Or at least the better.

Out of your family.

Out of humanity.

Out of yourself.

Out of connecting in new ways.

Research has shown that our perception of the world is influenced by our expectations.

Right now, expectations are all over the place.

We've never had to do this before.

Researchers believe that expectations change the strength of connections between neurons.

Those connections influence us at our core.

So let's start to expect better things.

May we all hear good things.

Good things about ending this pandemic.

Expect a new world.

Expect new ideas.

New behaviors.

Expect better preparation.

Expect better prevention.

Expect peace.
