Do you have your three Tiny Habits recipes ready? If not, please take a moment to create them today. Keep it simple — just “After I…, I will…, Then I celebrate.”
If you need ideas, here are three easy blood pressure-focused recipes:
1. The Measurement Habit: After I turn on my tea kettle, I will take out my blood pressure monitor. Celebrate by smiling and thinking, “Good for me — I’m on track!”
2. The Medication Habit: After I put my toothbrush back in the holder, I will take my nighttime blood pressure medication. Celebrate by saying, “Yes! This keeps my brain healthy.”
3. The Movement Habit: After I hear my phone ring, I will stand up and walk while on the phone. Celebrate by "Visualizing fireworks going off for me!"
Remember: It is fine to adjust your recipes later. Revision is part of the process.
