Do you want sport psychology at your summer camp?

Hi,
Do you want to include mental training into your sports camp this summer … but maybe a speaker isn’t in your budget …. or you forgot to book one and your camp is coming up soon and you need to get this planned right away … maybe you want to do the instructing. You want to choose the topics and skills that fit well with your team, and by leading the discussion you create a closer bond with your athletes. And by doing it yourself, you and the other coaches are trained to reinforce these skills well into the season further developing your team’s mental toughness.
These are the goals I had in mind when I created the Mental Training Camp.
You’ll get access to 14 videos from one to 19 minutes in length across four topics:
- Improving Focus,
- Performing Under Pressure,
- Overcoming Anxiety, and
- Rebounding from Mistakes
You’ll have the freedom to pick and choose the instructional videos that best suit your athlete’s needs and goals. Also included are instructions for coaches on how to teach these skills and questions to ask that stimulate active discussions. There are worksheets for your athletes to facilitate learning and development.
Best of all are mental drills that can be included in physical practice to develop both the mind and the body because, let’s face it, we never separate the two. We play with thoughts and emotions that can either help or hurt us, so integrating the two is essential.
And if you want additional support, I’ve added the option to schedule a live Zoom Q&A with me and your team to further their development. You bring the questions and I’ll bring the answers.
So get the mental training you need at your sports camp this summer at bit.ly/Mental-Camp, and let’s help your athletes overcome their obstacles to excellence this summer.

Here is the first of a new series where I pull some quotes from Viktor Frankl's classic book, "Man's Search for Meaning" and use them to help you overcome your adversity.
"Everything can be taken from a man, but one thing, the last of human freedoms, to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."
This is where it starts. There is an option to be defeated by your adversity. You don't have to learn. You don't have to grow. That is a choice. The easy and understandable thing to do is nothing, which will likely lead to far worse results in the future.
But in the moment, it is the easier thing to do.
𝗔𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆. And this won't happen by accident.
Now let me add and clarify that if you are doing this growth to feel better, it likely won't work. We can't back into it that way. The growth hurts, and this is important. Adversity remains adverse and uncomfortable.
