Do You Catch Yourself Being Good?

Obstacle:

You notice every mistake you make. You proudly say, “I am my harshest critic.” You think it drives you - and it does - but at what cost? You’re never satisfied. You're losing joy. And your performance is suffering.

How to Overcome:

Catch your self doing something right! Science has shown that we grow the best with a 5:1 ratio of positive reinforcement to constructive criticism. So don’t worry about decreasing that negative self-talk. Start by catching yourself doing something right, acknowledge it specifically, and let that accomplishment settle in.
