You can help a lot of people in 2 minutes

Happy Saturday ,
I've been in practice for (gulp) over 25 years.
Times have changed.
When I started, I had to explain what sport psychology was. Athletes were resistant because of the stigma.
That hurt because I knew they were missing out on the help they needed. Suffering unnecessarily with performance anxiety, inconsistent play, and not living up to their potential.
Fortunately, that has changed.
Not only do athletes as young as high schoolers already know the value of sport psychology consulting, many advocate for their mental health.
Sport organizations and universities are starting making mental health a priority.
Athletes, coaches and sport parents are getting the help they need and getting better.
Maybe you were one of them.
But there are still many others unsure about sport psychology and what can be done to relieve the stress of perfectionism or learn how to be clutch under pressure.
Many have information overload and are overwhelmed with the books and videos, needing guidance through it all and help actually applying the information.
There are unfortunately unqualified "mindset coaches" out there and people don't know where to turn or who to trust.
What people are trusting are the opinions and stories of those who have been through it.
So I am asking, if I helped you or someone you love in any way, would you mind telling your story?
Maybe you attended a presentation and one strategy stuck with you.
Maybe I worked with your team and you took your play to another level.
Maybe we worked together to get though that injury or bring back your love for the game.
Maybe you watched my Psychology of Performance course and you applied it to your music, art, occupation or health with awesome results.
Maybe my social media, blog posts or this newsletter have kept you focused and performing your best over the years.
If I helped you in any way, I ask that you share your story with others so they can learn from your experience, and help me help them.
It takes less than 3 minutes.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
