Time to Return and Start Over
Hello Friends!
Very happy Labor Day to you and your family.
This is it. The end of summer and return to school, sports, work (for some), and the busy Fall and holiday seasons.
But this year already feels very different, doesn't it? I started to think, "why can't we just go back to normal?" and realized that "normal" has been different every year of my life! Kids get older. I get older! The job demands change. My skills and abilities in sport changes. The challenges in every area of my life are different every year ... every season.
Sometimes it is an injury that gets me out of a routine. Sometimes it is a family emergency. Sometimes it is just a relapse into old bad habits. Sometimes it's a pandemic.
It seems like I'm always having to start all over again.
Can you relate?
I got a recent DM from someone in our community of excellence who wanted a kickstart, asking for this video specifically and I thought I would share it with you all. I hope it gives you the inspiration you need to start again and persevere.
Best wishes for Fall,
Dr. Eddie
