As the boats are cleaned, the tubes are deflated, and the last shuttles of the year are parked, we’ve had a chance to look back on our first season as the new owners of Downriver Canoe Company.
We put some of those reflections into a short end-of-season blog post, including what this place means to our family and why this stretch of river is so special to us and to you.
If you’d like to take a quick trip back to the Shenandoah, you can read it here:
NEW: Downriver Online Shop + Black Friday Offer
We’ve launched a brand-new online merchandise store so you can bring a bit of the river home with you—even in the middle of winter.
You’ll find:
- Downriver t-shirts and hoodies
- Hats and Mugs
To celebrate the launch—and say thank you for an incredible season—we’re offering 20% off your order for Black Friday. Use code: BlackFriday at checkout to redeem the offer. The code is good through Monday December 1st.
Staying Connected in the Off-Season
Even though the river is quieter this time of year, we’re already planning for next season—tuning up gear, working on facility improvements, and thinking about new ways to make your next trip even better.
Over the coming months, we’ll use this monthly email to:
- Share updates on what’s new at Downriver
- Highlight trip ideas and planning tips for next season
- Give subscribers early notice on key dates and special offers
Thank you again for being part of our Downriver community. Whether you joined us for a family float, a camping weekend, or a quiet paddle, we’re grateful you chose to spend time on the river with us.
We’re already looking forward to seeing you back on the Shenandoah next season.
See you on the river,
The Downriver Crew
