A quick note about ARC readers!

Before The Gates of Damnation is released, I'll be sending advance copies to a small group of readers.

I'm particularly looking for people who already enjoy my work, understand the world of Númaria, and genuinely love slightly darker fantasy (no sexy stuff - just more fantasy violence).

This is important because The Gates of Damnation is considerably darker, more brutal than the previous books. There is more killing, more confronting material and a much more mature tone. It is absolutely NOT intended for younger readers. There is no sex or spice in it - there isn't any room for that in there with all of the violence. I listened to a lot of Falling in Reverse whilst writing this book - I love Ronnie Radke, along with Electric Callboy, Poppy, System of a Down, Ice Nine Kills, Sleep Token, The Pretty Wild, and a really cool band called from Oz called Ark of Light (the singer is a powerful and attractive man). The violence is not over the top in Gates of Damnation, it's just more than I usually do and it's the intention behind the decision making that adds a brutal feel to it. This story also has a LitRPG elements which makes the decisions of my protagonist more interesting and the violence more purposeful. And yeah, it has a massive twist in it that will rip your bloody face off! Good luck with that.

So please ONLY put your hand up for an ARC if this genuinely sounds like the kind of book you are likely to enjoy. Amazon reviews are enormously important to independent authors like me, particularly around release, so I am hoping to build an ARC group made up of enthusiastic readers who are already a strong match for this story.

The War for Ascension Book Two

WFA book 2 is pushing closer to being finished as a first draft - yes, I know, it's 4 years in the making. Not to be an 'effing' drag but those were the worst years of my life... I lost my son, I lost my mother, I lost my mind, and a whole lot of other very bad things happened to me that were unexpected. So yeah, it took 4 years. That shit won't happen again! I'm already fleshing out the story arc for WFA book 3 and potentially a book 4.

Book 2 in the Ascension Archive - The Gates of Damnation Update: I'm completely done with this book. The cover is coming together. This book is going to really push the limits for me. It was an exhausting book to write and I know you'll understand why. I cannot wait to get this one into your hands!

The Gates of Damnation is a very dark story surrounding the events of the War for Ascension series, focusing on a terrifying mission descending the darkest underworld to retrieve a malevolent tome called the Ekradex. One of seven, these Ekradex books of damnation are being used in cult-like rituals by the vile servants of the enemy to conjure evil forces. Destroying them would deal a devastating blow to the enemy, but if the mission is foiled, great dangers will lay ahead as Ahstra's legions continue to defile all in their way!

Book 3 in the Ascension Archive - (Title name Coming Soon!) Update: Yes... I've been secretly working on this for a while now, and the entire story arc is done with many chapters completed. This story follows the path and back story of the shape changer from War for Ascension, Baydazar. All you 'Cat Lovers' are going to really appreciate this book and it ties-in so many little aspects of the previous Ascension archive books 1 and 2 and the War for Ascension books 1 and 2. More to come on this one!
