A quick update from my writing desk!
I wanted to share a brief update on what I've been working on lately.
I'm still writing Book Two of The War for Ascension, while also continuing Book Three of The Ascension Archive. Both stories are moving forward, and much of my time has been spent developing the chapters, characters and larger events that connect these books to the wider world of Númaria.
Alongside the writing, I've also been continuing the cinematic audio version of The War for Ascension on Spotify.
What did I get myself into with this damn immersive audiobook? 😩
The episodes have been arriving more slowly than I originally planned because each one involves far more than recording the chapter. I write and produce the music, record the narration, edit the performances and build the sound around each scene myself. It is a substantial amount of work, but I want each chapter to feel complete before I release it.
So although things may sometimes appear quiet from the outside, there is a great deal still happening behind the scenes.
The released chapters are free to listen to on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, Goodpods, iHeart Radio etc...
I'll continue sharing new writing, audio chapters and updates as the books progress.

Book 2 in the Ascension Archive - The Gates of Damnation Update: I'm completely done with this book, but other realtime considerations have come in the way so I haven't done the next step which is the cover - yes, I know this is such a trivial thing but it all takes mental energy and head space. Cover design next and a few other tricks up my sleeve - this book is going to really push the limits for me. It was an exhausting book to write and I know you'll understand why. I cannot wait to get this one into your hands!
The Gates of Damnation is a story surrounding the events of the War for Ascension series, focusing on a terrifying mission descending the darkest underworld to retrieve a malevolent tome called the Ekradex. One of seven, these Ekradex books of damnation are being used in cult-like rituals by the vile servants of the enemy to conjure evil forces. Destroying them would deal a devastating blow to the enemy, but if the mission is foiled, great dangers will lay ahead as Ahstra's forces continue to defile all in their way!
Book 3 in the Ascension Archive - (Title name Coming Soon!) Update: Yes... I've been secretly working on this for a while now, and the entire story arc is done with many chapters completed. This story follows the path and back story of the shape changer from War for Ascension, Baydazar. All you 'Cat Lovers' are going to really appreciate this book and it ties-in so many little aspects of the previous Ascension archive books 1 and 2 and the War for Ascension books 1 and 2. More to come on this one!
