Even though April has been a super wet month here in Oregon, I love the results of all the early flowers coming into their own. There are currently tulips, magnolias, and daffodils bursting all over my neighborhood, but my absolute favorite are tree blossoms. Maybe it's because I spent several years living in Japan, but trees bursting with pink petals signify the spring season for me. Check out this cool dual-color tree in my neighborhood.
April also ushers in a big book fair. It's when the International Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Authors asks its members to give away free books to their readers, and April is free urban fantasy month. My time to shine!
I love this special promo because it includes some big indie author names. You can download all books in the promo for free, no signups required.
