Breathing Water, Book 2 of the Magic of Nasci, Now Available!

Even though I get horrible seasickness, I love the ocean. I have a sound machine that lulls me to sleep with lapping waves. I can (and have) spent hours fiddling around in tide pools, looking for crabs and tiny fish. I remember wading in the surf in Japan as a foreign exchange student, staring out to the horizon and being overwhelmed at the thought of my home laying somewhere on the other side. There's just something magical and foreign about that great wet wilderness.

Which is why Book 2 of the Magic of Nasci series deals with the mysteries of the ocean. What better way to introduce Ina to the water element than having to confront a vaettur that lurks in its depths?

Breathing Water is now available for free on Kindle Unlimited. You can also purchase it as an Amazon digital book or a paperback.

A monster lurks under the waves, threatening everything the shepherds of Nasci hold dear.

Ina’s still got a lot to learn before becoming a seasoned nature wizard. Her mentor Guntram pushes her to master water magic, but no matter how hard she tries, she just can’t seem to get the hang of it.

But she’ll need to figure it out soon. A mythical creature is stalking endangered animals along the Pacific Northwest’s waterways. Can she trust game warden Vincent Garcia to locate this new threat? And even if she does find the beast, can she stop it with her unstable elemental magic?
