Guess what they said about my new book

Hi Guys,

I'm excited!

ok I'm going to keep this email short, but I'm excited about a book review I got over the weekend. The review is for my upcoming book, The Injection, from this website called Readers Favorite. Its a site that list and review books by Indie authors. I knew they were going to do a review of my book but I was nervous.

Now Readers Favorite, they only post your review if it is good. If the book rates 3 or lower, they send the author the review directly and don't post it on the site. Reason... 1. they only want to show readers books that they like, and 2. If they don't like it, they don't want to hurt the author by publicly saying they don't like it, instead they give the author the feedback privately. So, I was worried about the review. would they like it?

They did!

It got 5 stars which qualifies my book the Readers Favorite seal.

Check out the review below.

Reviewed by Viga Boland for Readers' Favorite

What a fun read for a medical action “thriller”! The Injection by DL Jones and Devante Cresh was anything but what I expected. In fact, it was refreshingly different. Rather than bogging readers down in medical details and jargon, as so many medically-based novels do, The Injection gets straight into the action centered around the final stages of developing a rather frightening and powerful drug...one that turns ordinary mice into super-mice. Now all one needs is to see what it will do to/for a human being.
The guinea pig who didn’t volunteer to be a test subject but suddenly finds himself in that role is Mr. Peters. He is a successful business owner who pops viagra in the hope he can finally give his wife the baby they both want. After Mr. Peters, courtesy of a childhood friend now turned scientist, experiences how it feels to become a temporary superman, he finds himself indulging more and more frequently...typical addiction...and the result of his new superhuman strength is disastrous. You’ve got to read The Injection to truly envision Mr. Peters jumping from six-story rooftops, crashing through solid doors, being shot multiple times but never dying, and suddenly, exhausted from his Superman escapades, falling asleep for days at a time. And strangely enough, it’s almost believable!
The strongest part of The Injection, for me, apart from the initial plot concept and the excellent use of dialogue, is the cinematic presentation of scenes like those described above. You can just envision all of this action on a large movie screen. Sure, it’s pure fantasy occasionally bordering on horror, but just the kind of read that’s perfect when you need to escape the real world. And don’t we all need a bit of that nowadays!
