The Duolingo Practice Test has changed!

There are new vocabulary, reading, and writing question types 🤯

Question 1: Has the official Duolingo Test been updated with the new questions?

Answer: No. As of today, February 14th, the official Duolingo English Test has not been updated with the new question types.

Question 2: When will the test be updated?

Answer: I don't know, sorry. Last year the test was updated around the end of March, so it's possible we might see a similar timing this year. But this is just my speculation.

Question 3: My DET practice test score is 80-120; am I ready to take the test?

Answer: It totally depends on the score you need to achieve. The official DET estimated score is a reliable indicator. Use this to check if your practice scores match your goal.
