I hope my friends in the northern hemisphere are managing to stay warm. It's mind-boggling to see the incredibly low temperatures and intense snowfall on the news and being shared on social media. We've been experiencing temps on the opposite end of the spectrum, ranging from 41 – 43°C (105 – 109°F) coupled with higher than normal humidity. It's been challenging to stay cool.

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind with the release of Everlasting Love. It's been amazing to see the shares on social media and images made by readers who have loved Shane and Violet's story.

The reviews have been amazing to read and have made the worry I felt about this book abate a little. If you've read it and haven't had time to leave a review, I'd appreciate it if you did. The more reviews, the more likely Amazon is to show my book to new readers, which would be incredibly helpful and I'd love your support.

Amidst all of that, I was away on our annual holiday (vacation) with my family at my favourite seaside town two and a half hours from home for one week.

It was bliss.

We took the time to reconnect as a family and had so much fun. We played Scrabble (spoiler alert, I didn't win) and enjoyed a game of mini golf at a new place which was exactly like playing on a real golf course, except in miniature (as it should be). We played ten rounds of archery and I scored my first ever bull's eye and even have the bruise on my arm to prove it. We took long walks along the beach after dinner and ate way too much food. The hubby and I also caught up with my author friends, Mackenzy and Dakotah Fox.

The entire week was perfection!

And now that I'm home, it's back to work for me. I'm busy writing Lincoln's story for The Trouble with Bad Boys Charity Anthology, releasing in June! More news on that below ...
