Let's start with some positive vibes ... 2024 is going to be amazing.

Do you make resolutions?

I gave up making resolutions because I'm terrible at sticking with them. I decided some time ago that I wouldn't set myself a resolution because it felt like I was setting myself up for failure. And if I'm going to be completely transparent, the idea of having goals terrifies me. When I was young, I dreamed big and set goals only to have the shattered in the most devastating way. Ever since then, I don't plan more than I absolutely need to and I don't set goals.

We spent the last evening of the year watching the final sunset over the Indian Ocean. It's such a gorgeous sight, watching that hot ball of orange disappear below the horizon.

This year I'll be travelling to Canada with my hubby and youngest son and I can't wait. I'm so excited to see beautiful Canada and meet some of my Canadian and American friends! We're going to be driving from Vancouver across to the east coast, Niagara Falls, and finishing in Toronto.

We're in the planning stages and we want to see alllllll the things but sadly, time won't allow us to see everything and it's difficult to decide what we'll have to skip.
