How have you been?

Are you a reader who sets a monthly or annual reading goal? How are you going with it? Do you think you'll reach your target or do you have some catching up to do?

I usually set myself a Goodreads goal, however, since becoming an author, I've had to reduce the number of books I expect to read over the course of the year, and without checking, I think I'm way behind my goal this year which makes me sad.

I have so much news, so you might want to get comfortable.

The past few weeks have been exciting for several reasons and I'll tell you why.

REASON NUMBER 1!

Falling for the Enemy hit Number ONE new release in Romance Collections & Anthologies. And that's all thanks to you. Thank you so much for your support in purchasing a copy of the anthology. I seriously have the best readers on the planet. I've always felt honoured and proud that I was accepted to be part of the charity anthology, but this has taken the experience to an entirely different level.

REASON NUMBER 2!

What's a Cinnamon Roll Hero?

Well, I'm glad you asked.

All of my Heroes are considered Cinnamon Rolls. They're all kinds of delicious with their compassion for others, kindness, and thoughtfulness. They don't mind showing their emotions and they're reasonably level-headed. They tend to be selfless and generally put others' needs before their own. They are also sweet with a heart of gold. And while they're all about equality in daily life, they can be bossy/filthy in the bedroom, bathroom, on the couch, or the kitchen counter ... you get my drift.
