Well, here I am in your inbox again! I'm going to make this newsletter short and sweet since my last one was so long!

The weather in my corner of the world has cooled considerably and we're finally getting some much-needed rain. The first few days of the new season always hit the hardest as I grow accustomed to the new temperatures. Mind you, with my hot flushes, I'm grateful for the cooler temps.

We're on the countdown in our house with less than four weeks until we leave for our long-awaited bucket list trip to Canada. The list of things to do seems never ending and each time I check something off the list, I think of two more things that need to be done.

The three of us are dreading the long flight (particularly our son who stands at 6'3"), but it's a small price to pay to live in such an awesome location. Everywhere is a long way to travel to from here. On the other side of the coin, we're so excited about the adventure that lies ahead of us.

I promise to share some pics of our travels when we return.

I'm still working on Hope and Ben's story. My aim is to get the first draft done and to my beta readers before I go to Canada for one month. I'm not sure I'll make it, but I'm going to give it a red-hot shot!
