Wow, it’s April already! I welcome the longer days and warmer weather, although it’s still kind of chilly here most days in British Columbia’s lower mainland. Hopefully, I can start gardening again by the end of this month.

I’m still working on the edits for my Casey Holland novella and eager to finish up. I’ve also been toying with ideas for a new paranormal mystery series. Recently, I took part in a mind-mapping session with over 20 attendees, and they helped me come up with ideas for a couple of plot points. The outlining is under way and I’ve started on the first couple of chapters. It’s been a long time since I plotted a new mystery series with completely different characters. It’s challenging but fun! Coming up with ideas is one of my favourite aspects of writing. I’m also inspired by other authors, so I’m off to check click on that newsletter and free ebook link now.
