The Murder and Mayhem newsletter signup promotion also ends in two weeks. This deal features mystery, suspense, hardboiled, police procedurals and women sleuths subgenres.

It’s interesting, and not surprising, that many readers still prefer print books. To that end, all seven books in my Casey Holland mystery series can now be ordered at American libraries, if requested. I’ve begun publishing my books through Draft2Digital and their arrangement with Ingram Spark allows libraries and bookstores to order through IS. Here in Canada, book wholesalers provide titles to larger Canadian libraries. So, if print is your preferred choice, please suggest a title at your local library so they can order it for you. The books are also available to libraries in ebook format.

Some of you know that I’ve been working on my first urban fantasy novel for some time. A couple of weeks ago, I took part in a public reading at a local library and read the first chapter of When Darkness Draws Near. The recording of that event is now publicly available.
