Since my last email, I’ve continued to work daily on the first two books in my urban fantasy trilogy. The tentative title of the first novel is When Darkness Draws Near, and I’m currently editing chapter 56 in the 67-chapter novel. I’ll start the submission process soon, which is daunting in itself. The last time I submitted to agents and publishers, which resulted in publication of Casey Holland mystery #1, The Opposite of Dark, was nearly fifteen years ago. It feels a bit surreal to be doing this again, but intuition tells me this is the right course of action at this time. And I pay close attention to intuition. It’s resulted in some of the best decisions of my life.
