Happy New Year everyone, and I hope the first week of 2024 is off to a great start for you.

Our holiday celebrations meant lots of family time with my grandkids. Here in Vancouver’s Lower Mainland, we’ve been experiencing mild weather, which has been great for long nature walks and contemplating goals for 2024.

I finished the first draft of a paranormal mystery over the holidays which I’m putting away for now in order to complete the final edit of my urban fantasy, When Darkness Draws Near. I’m undecided about whether to submit this book to agents or self-publish. Given that there are pros and cons to both options, it’s a dilemma that many writers experience.

To start the year off, I’m taking part in a Mystery/Thriller Giveaway. 48 authors with full-length books are participating in this newsletter signup giveaway, so it should be a great one!
