In book # 3, Casey does a fair bit of chasing journalist, Danielle, around, by vehicle and on foot. When I worked in security, most of my 7-hour shifts were spent walking. Sunday was my favorite day of the week. Hardly anyone was around which meant fewer incidents to resolve. I loved being outside in spring and summer, but winter was a different story. One year, I wound up traipsing through two feet of snow. I remember walking under a building’s overhang when a four-foot-long icicle suddenly fell, missing my head by inches. I still count my blessings over that one.
