🏡 Greetings From the Country

Live from the country, where the mornings are starting a little slower (in a good way), getting hot faster, and I keep telling myself I’ll get ahead on things… right after one more cup of coffee.

It’s been one of those weeks where I’ve been juggling a bit of everything—writing, life, and the never-ending list of “just one more thing.” I did manage to sneak in a little quiet time, though, and I’m holding onto that as a win.

We've been busy this week packing some essentials for the new beach house and that's been a chore in itself!

I did manage to get some flowers planted out front and I got a haircut!

This week’s cozy find:

A quick kitchen shortcut that’s been saving me lately—prepping just one thing ahead of time.

Not a full meal plan (who has the energy for that every week?), just one simple step—chopping veggies, mixing a marinade, or even just setting something out the night before.

It sounds small, but it makes the next day feel so much easier.

I’m calling it my “future me will be grateful” trick 😄

Death on a Dinner Cruise is done 🎉

After edits, tweaks, and more than a few “just one more pass” moments, it’s finally ready. Right now I’m just waiting on the back cover wrap—and once that’s in place, it will be available! Look for the announcement soon!!

Such a good feeling to be at this stage, and I can’t wait to share it with you. Book 2 is now open on the computer and starting to take shape.
