We've been bringing you all manner of great planet and people kinder shopping choices since the end of 2018. The Day Zero team has both paid and voluntary staff and together we've woven our work into our local community and found many friends and organisations with very similar interests.

Right now we'd like to ask you whether you have time to help out on a Thursday morning, which would be for preparing our beautiful veg boxes ready for delivery. It's a really fun morning, one of our absolute favourite days of the week, and the time commitment is only 1.5-2 hours.

We'd really love your help so please let us know if you'd be willing to join the team. If you need to understand a bit more about it, then get in touch and we'll talk things through with you.

We've had a number of people help us who have developed skills here and gone on to other things and it's suitable for any age, we've had both teenagers and retired friends as part of the team. Please drop us a note x

Also, we're aware that Easter school holidays are getting ever closer. If you get your veg boxes from us, please get in touch and let us know if there are weeks in that period when you won't be placing an order.

And with Easter in mind, this week sees the return of the ever popular (vegan) creme eggs from Sally up in Bury. They fly out and they may well be limited to this one batch, so pop in or else add some when you place your online shopping order this week.
