I traveled to Princeton, IL on Saturday to participate in the Princeton Library's Author Fair. Boy, did it lift my spirits to be among my fellow author friends and readers. I'm an introvert at heart, but it's hard to pass up a well-planned event like a author fair where everyone's a book lover!
I love to visit libraries, too. Since I'm a board member at my local library, I enjoy seeing what other libraries are doing to draw patrons. This one had its own cafe and some fun touches throughout the building like the adult coloring station and whimsical wall decor. Even small touches like the cafe's business cards displayed within the folded pages of an old book were so clever!
My next event will be November 7th in Peru, IL. More details to follow, but I hope to see you there!

Blueberry Point's Love, Lies and Lemon Pie

Love, Lies and Lemon Pie (Blueberry Point #4) was one of my favorite books to write (wait, I think I say that about all my books). Seriously though, I'd recently started binge-watching the Great British Baking Show on Netflix shortly before I began working on this title. The yummy desserts and the competition-themed atmosphere inspired the backdrop of Mila and Cam's love story.
