What a crazy-busy week this was after getting back last weekend from our Texas-Wyoming trip. Of course I didn't write nearly enough as I'd planned (a given, I should know this), so I've been working late into the night this week to make up some time. Finishing the Party-for-the-Planet Earth Day sculpture for our local zoo topped the non-writing agenda too. Grand Girl #1 slept over one night this week to finish the painting the flamingo. Then I assembled and my husband made it stable enough to stand. The granddaughters, my husband and I delivered it to the zoo yesterday. We had so much fun making "Emmie" the Flamingo together!

In writing news, the cover for Love, Lies and Literature is finished so the preorder will be ready for the next newsletter. For those who downloaded Love Between the Lines through the Sweet and Swoony promotion over the last year, this is the same book with added content. It's now a full-length novel instead of a novella though, so it fits into the Blueberry Point series as Book #7. I'll be pricing it at $.99 for the first month.

I'm reading The House on Trade Street right now by Karen White. It's set in Charleston with a ghostly element, and so far I'm enjoying it. These days I like mixing up the genres I read. My daughter recommended a Colleen Hoover book whom I've never read, so November 9th is next up for me. What are you reading this week?
