Hello, Dear Readers:
Balance in life is necessary. Balance is sanity-saving good sense.
Watching our kitchen demo over the last two weeks has been...challenging. It's been in the plans for years, but that knowledge makes it no easier when the drills are buzzing and a film of plaster dust coats everything in the house. But I'm trying to stay positive. It's progress! Soon, the pretty cabinets will come out of the boxes that are stacked in our front room! My new refrigerator came yesterday, so I no longer have to buy ice to keep things cold in the coolers on the deck.
And we've been balancing the construction noise and mess with getting out of the house for some fun with the grand girls. Library programs, zoo trips, art camp, and plenty of sandbox time have been sweet distractions. Luckily, the weather has been beautiful, too.
