Tomorrow is a big day. Well, every Thursday is a big day around here if our oldest granddaughter has anything to say about it. My husband and I put work on hold for a day every week to hang out with her and her six-month-old sister. At two, the oldest is already a force to be reckoned with⏤strong-willed, opinionated, busy. We'll need to get our game faces on tomorrow because it's Halloween Cookie Decorating Day and Pumpkin Carving Day. We missed seeing the grandgirls these last few weeks while we travelled, so making up for three Thursdays in one eight-hour stint tomorrow is on the calendar! Stay tuned for photos next week...
This is the last week to check out the romance selection in the Sweet October Romance promotion. Over 30 titles to choose from! (click on the graphic above to take you to the covers to choose from).

WHAT I'M READING: I just finished reading Elizabeth Berg's HOME SAFE. I've loved every one of her novels (women's fiction) ever since I read Open House years ago. I picked up the paperback in Salt Lake City at an out-of-the-way used bookstore. I'll be adding this to next month's Clean My Shelves Giveaway. Next on my nightstand is MR. MIRACLE by Debbie Macomber, another bookstore find (this one came from Powell's in Portland (I'm still dreaming about that place).
Below are a few books on my radar that I've yet to read since they're new releases. I did read Kate Condie's first novel in the Astor Ridge Ranch series and loved it; I expect this third book in the seriesto be just as enjoyable. If you've read one of these or plan to, let me know what you think!
Happy Reading!
Dawn

Tyler is hard enough to resist. Put a baby goat in his arms? Oh, I’m a goner.
"I loved (Tyler and Olivia), and I can’t wait to go back to the beginning and read the rest of the stories in the series, if only to experience a little bit more of the world Jenny Proctor has so beautifully woven together." - Amazon reviewer
