November 19, 2021
A message popped into my inbox this morning from one of the Silver Leaf Falls authors even before I woke up. Rachel Harding, who lives in England, wanted to send her congratulations since A Forever Kiss in SLF published today.
"Happy release day Dawn! Wanted to hop (on) here and wish you a great release xx"
Writing in a shared world with Meg, Rachel, Christina, Kaci and Brittney was a new experience for me as an author. I loved every minute of the process which started in the summer of 2020. And I especially love celebrating each new book that has come into the world every month since August. Brittney's Christmas in Silver Leaf Falls wraps up the series next month. Stay tuned for what's coming in 2022!
I hope you had a chance to read the first chapter sneak peak in the last newsletter. My even greater hope is that you enjoyed it! I'm giving another shout-out to readers who have already sent me good wishes and left early reviews, and also early "thank you's" to those who will download the book and read it in Kindle Unlimited in the coming days. I would not be an author if it weren't for you and for that I'm eternally grateful.
To celebrate the book's release, we're going out to dinner. I also signed up for an evening ceramics class scheduled appropriately for tonight at the county arts center. I'll be thinking of Andi Vandermeer, Grandma Gertie and the Silver Leaf Arts Co-op as I make Christmas ornaments later on. If they turn out well, who knows, I may give some away.
Until next time and happy reading!
Dawn
