I flipped the calendar from October to November last week and thought: wasn't it just Christmas? The passage of time gets a little wonky when holiday decorations pop up in July, but still! Now, I'm sifting through boxes of decorations in the attic, fighting the urge to put a tree up before Thanksgiving. I love peeking into our ornament collection and finding one or two that I've forgotten. Maybe it was gifted to me last year or maybe I picked them up during the after-Christmas sales. They didn't hang on the tree for long before I tucked them away until now.
Happy little surprises, that's what they were.
I have a few surprises coming your way between now and Christmas, and I can't wait to share them with you.
