If you're a Harry Potter fan, you probably don't have good feelings about pink, LOL. If you've ever seen the movie Funny Face with Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire, though, pink brings that fun song to mind that the fashion magazine editor sings:
"Think pink on the long long road ahead... Think pink and the world is rosy red!"🎵
Now it's in my head. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. It's a cute film. I may go watch it, actually - I have the DVD because I'm a nerd.
It's always boggled my mind, though, that there are people out there who can sit around and decide what's in and what isn't, what's hot and what's not, and everyone else just goes along with being told what to like. How do they decide these things, and why does everyone just go with it? The way it's depicted in Funny Face makes it even more boggling because it's so random and spur of the moment, and nobody questions it, LOL.
My long winded point being, there's a lot of pink to be had this month because it's February because reasons, but don't think that you're obligated. If you truly love it, go for it! Otherwise, get something purple or green or whatever and stand out. (I like going with animal prints, personally.)
For our February Mane Event, there's not much I can tell you because they haven't let us peek, but the basics are the same: there's a new cosmetic bag, a new exclusive Flexi, a sample of one of our Essentials, a surprise item (I do know what that is, and it's brand new and 10% off on its own!), and an inspirational quote and coupon code. Gosh, I'm still thinking about Funny Face and how everybody was going around wearing pink. One of the characters who worked at the magazine was telling the editor that he hasn't seen any woman in anything but pink in weeks, except her. If you can hit Reply and say what her response was, you get kudos and bragging rights!
