Don’t Do Life Alone

This weekend reminded me why relationships matter more than we think.

Hey ,

On Saturday, the 14th of February, 2026, I proposed to the love of my life. My peace. My person.

This email is not really about the proposal itself.

It is about what I saw that day.

The room was filled with people who matter deeply to us. Friends showed up. Some travelled. Some adjusted their schedules. Some even apologized sincerely because they could not make it.

And in that moment, I was reminded again of the power of relationships.

The entire proposal planning was handled by our friends. They took ownership. They made calls. They coordinated. They ensured everything went smoothly.

It was beautiful to watch.

There are moments in life that make you realize you cannot do life alone.

Please, in all you do, do not isolate yourself.

Do not be a one-man mopol.

Life should not just be you and your partner against the world. You need people in and around your lives. Solid people. Genuine people. People who can show up for you and who you can show up for.

Community is not a luxury. It is necessary.

Saturday made me deeply grateful, not just for love, but for friendship. For support. For shared joy.

There is no long talk today.

Just this reminder: build real relationships. Invest in people. Allow people to matter. Allow yourself to matter to people too.

And we have a wedding!!

Have a very productive week ahead.

Your Fave,

Darasimi.
