Time isn’t what measures life. Time is life.

You’re not short on time. You’re short on discipline.

Hey ,

Let’s talk about something I’ve seen far too often, poor time management.

I’ve worked with people who are incredibly smart, creative, and talented… yet they struggle to get results.

Not because they lack skill. But because they can’t manage time.

And here’s the funny thing, it’s not like I have more hours than they do.

We all get the same 24 hours.

The difference is how we use it.

Take me, for instance.

I work with an international AI company and honestly, the workload can get wild.

But even with all that, I still write newsletters like this, mentor young people, and work on personal projects.

How? I manage my time intentionally.

I know my most productive hours are in the morning.

So, while my official work hours start at 9am, I’m already up by 4:30 or 5:00.

By 6:30, I’ve started work.

That gives me a two-hour head start on my colleagues and that two hours changes everything.

I don’t work on weekends, but I still prepare for the week ahead.

I look at the tasks coming up, brainstorm, and use AI tools to structure my ideas.

That way, when Monday comes, I’m not starting from zero.

It’s not magic.

It’s intentional time management.

But here’s the issue with our generation, we don’t value time enough.

We scroll through WhatsApp status updates for two hours.

We refresh Instagram stories we’ve already watched.

We check every post, every reel, every trend.

And then we say, “I don’t have time.”

No, you do. You just don’t manage it.

If you spend one hour aimlessly scrolling, that’s one hour of your life gone.

Because here’s something I’ve come to believe deeply:

Time isn’t what measures life. Time is life.

When people say “he lived for 80 years,” they’re measuring life in time.

So every hour you waste is literally one less hour of life.

So, here’s my challenge to you as we close this year and step into the next:

Be conscious of your time.

Audit where your hours go.

Ask yourself:

You don’t need more time, you just need to take charge of it.

Because if you can manage your time well, you can manage your life well.

Keep growing,

Darasimi
